Stealth makes a great Essential Gun Safe called the EGS23 for those on a budget. It provides great security and fire protection all at a great price.

The body and the door on the EGS23 Essential Gun Safe are made of 14 gauge steel. This safe will be perfect to put in a closet to keep your firearms secure and locked away from the kids. There are 8 solid steel chrome-plated 1" locking bolts to prevent pry attacks. There are a total of 4 active bolts and 4 deadbolts on the hinge side. Stealth installs a high-quality UL Type 1 high-security NL lock on the door. This lock is top of the line and one of the most reliable locks in the industry. There is an internal hardplate and relocker protecting the lock that adds an extra layer of security.

The Stealth EGS23 Essential Gun Safe has fire protection for 30 minutes tested at temperatures up to 1200 degrees F. Stealth includes an intumescent door deal that will expand to multiple times its size during a fire. This helps to prevent smoke from entering the safe and protecting your contents.

Another great feature of the Stealth EGS23 Essential Gun Safe is the Molle interior door organizer. This will allow you to store items on the door and free up some additional space inside the safe. This door organizer is fully customizable and allows you to move pistol holsters to the bottom, on the right side or left side depending on your needs. You can also remove all the accessories and use your own if you want. The accessories can be added or removed with the strap and snap system.

Stealth also includes an electrical outlet kit standard on the EGS23. This can be used to plug in a light kit or a dehumidifier rod. This electrical outlet kit includes a total of 3 outlets and 2 USB slots. This means that you can charge electronics inside the safe that use a USB charging cord such as tablets, e-readers, phones, USB hard drives, and more.

The outside of the Stealth EGS23 is painted a flat black finish with a black 3-spoke handle. It includes a gray fabric interior as well. There are four anchor holes to bolt to a solid surface. This is highly recommended. The mounting hardware is also included to bolt the safe to a concrete floor.
