I bought this because I have my grandpas WWII service 1911. Its a perfect matching Colt made in 1943. I was told to quit firing it because of the outstanding condition! So, I wanted a 1911 that I could fun with that was a WWII replica. This totally fits the bill! OK, its not machined like the old Colt, but it works. And I mean it works! I find it fairly reliable and accurate! Totally worth the money for a piece of iron throwing a .45 cal bullet down range! I did throw a couple Wilson upgrades to make it run smoother. But this is a pistol you can be sure of and not throw down the cash for a gun youre scared to use. Its a knock-off, but worth it for a 1911!!!

How Long Have You Been Using This Product: More than 2 years

Bought this more than 2 years ago. Cleaned and lubed before putting 100 rounds Federal. I had one failure to feed on the fourth magazine. I disassembled and cleaned the feedramp, re-lubed, reassembled and continued until I fired all 100 rounds. This time it fired with no malfunction whatsoever. I since replaced the grip with checkered double diamond and I installed new sights Novak. Almost three years now with 2,000 + rounds through it with no malfunction at all even with aluminum case ammo. I always clean and oil before and after each use.
