Do you know someone interested in the sport of Hunting or Fishing and would like to use their passion at work? Turner’s Outdoorsman is pleased to announce a new employment referral program. Help the company build a best in class work force, and get a Gift Card for referring a qualified new employee to Turner’s Outdoorsman!
Turner’s Outdoorsman is looking for customer service focused employees and will issue a referral award of a $200 Gift Card for each Full-Time Exempt (salary) Employee, $100 Gift Card for each Full-Time Non-exempt (hourly) employee, and a $50.00 Gift Card for each Part-Time (hourly) Non-exempt employee.
Simply e-mail the referral contact information, including your own information, to personnel@turners.com, Subject: Employment Referral Program.
Rules on this program are as follows:
• Turner’s Outdoorsman reserves the right to determine any prospective employee’s status (Exempt or Non-exempt).
• All referral fees are paid with a Turner’s Outdoorsman Gift Card. These cards are for purchases in Turner’s Outdoorsman stores and can not be exchanged for cash, check or credits. Once earned, you may give these award cards to your family and friends as gifts.
• All referrals must be qualified for employment, and must remain employed by Turner’s Outdoorsman for at least 90 consecutive calendar days.
• Gift cards will be issued to the referring employee within 30 days after the referred employee successfully completes his or her probationary period (90 consecutive days).
• There is a limit of one Gift card per referred employee in any 90 day period. The Company reserves the right to determine the referring party if multiple claims exist for a single referred employee.
• This program is limited to new hires and specifically excludes any current Turner’s Outdoorsman employees or prospective employees who applied for positions with Turner’s Outdoorsman prior to the announcement of this program (June 11, 2007).
• Turner’s Outdoorsman reserves the right to determine whether or not referred applicants are qualified for the position.
• The hiring process will be fair and consistent with Turner’s Outdoorsman policies and procedures.
• Turner’s Outdoorsman reserves the right to terminate any referred employee for any reason that is not in conflict with local, state and federal employment laws. Should any referred employee be terminated or quit their employment prior to the expiration of the
90-day probationary period, the referring customer will not be entitled to any award. Specifically no amount of the gift card will be prorated for the number of days employed.
• Turner’s Outdoorsman reserves the right to modify or discontinue this program at any time. Should the program be discontinued, any in-process referrals will be handled on an individual basis.
